DFE.  3/2/07. Overall.  Manager Report is on-track and improving 

Strengths:

1. Outcomes are specific & measureable; example is 1 page documentation w/ calcs to back of feasability. This is important because it focuses effort on producing results.

2. Outcomes are aligned with adding value to project. This is important because it eliminates all non value added outcomes.

3. Tasks are spaced in time; deadline are 1/30, 2/1, etc. This is important because it breaks tasks into part and there are deliveries throughout the week (eliminate procrastination).

4. Organization (table structure/web-link on menu) allow all team members & advisor to quickly review.

Improvements

1.  Track task completion with individual accomuntablity.  Do this by

a. adding  a column to table labeled "% done"

b. make a decision as a team that each team member will honestly post their progress

c. check off tasks as they  get done (that is, update the  wbs on a regular basis).

d. reschedule any task that does not get done &  document decisions make.

2. Make key tasks accountable to  Elger & show me results.  Right now, I have no idea if anything is getting done.  My expectation is that I will be seeing key results every 2 to 3 days & that these results will be shown by all team members.
