Bio
I am an electrical and chemical engineering student at the University of Idaho. I served seven years in the U.S. Army where I worked with radio communications and comsec equipment. This is where I got an interest in electromagnetism. I grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho and Graduated from Burley High School.

Career Goals
After I get my undergraduate degree in electrical engineering I plan to pursue a graduate degree in electromagnetism and antenna theory. I would like ultimately to become a professor at a university somewhere.

Bio
I was born and Raised in Kailua-Kona, a large town on the west side of the island of Hawaii. I have no siblings. I was always interested in how things worked when I was a child which ended up being an expensive personality trait. I started my first semester in college as a music major but after some thinking over the christmas break following that semester I decided to major in physics. After going through a few more semesters in physics I learned that there was a major that encompassed all of the most interesting parts in the physics classes I took, electrical engineering. My Islands university did not offer a degree in the field unfortunately so I had to leave. I ended up in Idaho because of the state's beauty, and lucky for me, at a university with a great electrical engineering program. Now it is my senior year, I have a job with the MRCI working under Dr. Hess and I am in the Thermal Exposure design team.

Professional interests
This capstone design project appeals to me for several reasons the first of which is the gamut of knowledge required. I really wanted to be on a project where I was forced to do design work involving more than just one discipline of electrical engineering. I am very interested in signals, filtering, and semiconductors. I hope to continue working in all three of my areas of interest.

Bio
I mostly grew up in Bend, Oregon where I developed a deep appreciation of the outdoors. I love to go hiking in the summer and cross country skiing in the winter. I've never skied downhill which is probably a good thing since I never learned how to stop. I like to dance and have taken a variety of classes here and there.

Career Goals
I really want to work abroad for a time. It doesn't matter if it's one year or ten I want to get a broader understanding of what's going on in the world and how my work is going to affect it. When I first started college I wanted to get my degree, join a space agency, and design spacecraft. I still find this highly attractive though not the only thing I would want to do. I've learned more about other divisions and am tempted by those; such as probes, rovers, and colony design.

Bio
I graduated from Highland High School in Craigmont, Idaho and am currently a mechanical engineering student at the University of Idaho. I grew up on a family farm not far from Moscow with my parents, Ed and Selma, and my four bothers Jordan, Jed, Jon, and Jason. My interests include skiing, snowmobiling, fly-fishing, and many other outdoor activities.

Career Goals
I will graduate in May of 2008 and plan on attending graduate school in the fall. My main interests are fluid mechanics and computer aided design, and I hope to get an internship in one of these fields for the summer.

Bio
I grew up in a good sized town in southern Idaho called Twin Falls. I lived with my parents Robin and Vivain and my two sisters Linda and Laura. I graduated from Twin Falls High and continued on the University of Idaho. I now study Electrical Engineering at U of I, and I am expected to graduate in May 2008.

Professional Interests
I am interested in a broad view of Electrical Engineering including embedded systems, semiconductor physics, and power. I am undecided yet whether I would like to move into the job market or go on to graduate school.
