BIGFISH Engineering has been enlisted by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to assist in upgrading a Wildlife Management area on Idaho's Red River with surveillance capabilities. In the upcoming year we will be designing two surveillance systems to allow viewing of the meadow and it's wildlife from inside the Red River lodge and interpertive center.
We will, design and build a remotely
controlled and remotely viewable underwater surveillance system.
This system will not be a finalized design, but a first generation prototype
demonstrating the feasibility of remote (1-2 miles) control and viewing,
water and weather proofing, and one possible drive system. To this
end, BIGFISH Engineering will construct a full scale prototype. The
prototype drive mechanism, power supply, and transmission equipment will
not be weatherproofed. This prototype will have a fully functioning
drive system capable of vertical, and pan motion. This prototype
will be remotely controlled and viewed from a distance up to 1 mile.
