Here is the basic concept for mounting the electric motor on 2002 Ford Explorer Future Truck

 

THROUGH SHAFT ON DRIVE TRAIN

First, we considered to mount the electric motor through shaft on drive train.

 

 

                                                                   

REAR DIFFERENTIAL

Second option was to couple the electric motor with drive shaft at rear differential

 

                                                                 

 

CHAIN TO DRIVE SHAFT
