Electrical & Computer EngineeringSenior Design Project 2004-05The goal of our project is to design and implement a low-power, compact wireless transmission circuit for the EarTalk wireless communication system. The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) created the original EarTalk system that consists of a microphone and speaker embedded in separate earplugs. Thus, the system provides hearing protection and clear communication in high-noise environments. The scope of this project is to replace the wires connecting the earplugs and the external circuitry with a wireless transmission system.
