Investigating Multi-core and Cell Processor Security

Welcome to the Hot Threads web site. We are a Computer Engineering Senior Design team at the University of Idaho, doing research into the security features and flaws of multi-core processors. We are currently creating and running tests, and finishing off the test harness development.  Feel free to look around the site or contact us if you want more information!

Our goal is to make computing more secure by analyzing the architectural characteristics of the Cell processor to understand possible flaws that may compromise the security of a MILS system running on the Cell.
