Design1:
70' radius sprinkler heads with 180 degree heads on all sides.



Design 2: 90' radius sprinkler heads with 180 degree heads on all sides.



Design 3:
Mixture of 70' and 90' radius sprinkler heads with 180 degree heads on all sides.



Design 4:
90' radius sprinkler heads without 180 degree heads on sides (excluding next to Highway 95).



Design 5: 70' radius sprinkler heads without 180 degree heads on sides (excluding next to Highway 95).

Mainline Design




* Recommended Design was selected based on a hole-by-hole cost analysis of each design using Engineering Equations Solver. The cost differences between designs were weighed against the different sprinkler coverage each design provided. These Engineering Equations Solver calculations can be found in the interim design report. Recommended design was also slightly modified from design review after client's comments and suggestions. Mainline design was designed based on redundancy to decrease maintenance of the new irrigation system. Additional design considerations such as water storage, valves selection and placement, pipe sizing, and control system selection can be found in the Design Review PowerPoint.
