Fall Semester Snapshot
The fall semester wraps up with a shapshot day for senior design. The chassis, steering, front suspension, and engine are all completed and assembled. The brakes, rear suspension, pedal assembly and cockpit are soon to come. Although the semester has ended, there is still much work to be done. Over Christmas break some machining will be done, but the team will hit the ground running in January.
Have a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!
The Vandal Racing team was busy during homecoming. The team participated in the homecoming parade Saturday morning with the 2011-2012 car. Later that day the team had the opportunity to drive the vehicle onto the field during a media time-out for some publicity.
This year the team decided to have the new frame professionally constructed. Cartesian Tube Profiling has helped us out immensely by cutting, jigging, and welding the frame. Now it is time for suspension!
