Andy Wixom (Team Lead)

Andy Wixom was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho where he grew up with his two younger brothers. Now in college, he majors in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics and plans to go to graduate school in acoustics. In his free time he enjoys playing music and sports as well as spending time with friends and family.

Andrew Smith

Andrew is very interested in pursuing a career in the biomedical engineering field. The integration of biological principles and engineering fundamentals fuels his excitement for the future of engineering. He has been working in the emergency room as a certified nursing assistance for the past five years and has really enjoyed the human interaction of the medical field. A career in prosthetics and orthotics or going to graduate school for a masters degree are two of his main goals after receiving my BS degrees.

Chris Edwards

I’m a mechanical engineering student at the University of Idaho, graduating in the spring of 2011. I graduated from Centennial High School in 2006. I love to travel and spent a semester of my junior year in Australia studying abroad. I’m an independent person, but really enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I enjoy getting outside whenever I can, however like occasionally “gaming it up” with some friends. I also like skiing, playing guitar, and messing around on the keyboard. After graduating I’d like to get a government job and possibly complete a graduate degree, most likely in mechanical engineering as well.

George Korbel (Quartermaster)

I was born in Coeur d Alene, Idaho and grew up in the small town of Orofino, Idaho. I enjoy most outdoor activities as well as outdoor sports. I am currently a part time employee at the ISGC.

Kyle Brown

My name is Kyle Brown and I’m majoring in mechanical engineering at the University of Idaho. I have a previous degree in precision machining technology from Walla Walla Community College. I will be graduating in May. At that time I will be moving with my wife and daughter to Seattle, Washington. My interests include backpacking, camping, swimming, and pretending to know how to fish.

Sean Wagoner (Webmaster)

Sean Wagoner is an undergraduate in Computer Engineering at the University of Idaho. His academic interests include Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Embedded Systems. His free time is usually taken up with video games, reading, and Science! After undergraduate, he plans on going to graduate school, which may result in either a Doctorate or Masters, depending on his mood in the next 2 years.

Jared Garrison

I enjoy long walks on the beach on a moonlit night… Oh, that’s not what you wanted! That’s okay, because I’m married anyway, and will be graduating in May with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I would love to continue my schooling focusing on robotics, but my family comes first and supporting them with a great job. I do enjoy the occasional video game time, biking around, and fixing up the house. Most of my time is spent with my family, school, and work.
